Catch a Break! has established a renewable scholarship program to assist high school seniors or graduates residing in Minnesota who plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for the first time at an accredited public four-year college or university in Minnesota. Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible.

This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or disability.

Applicants of the Catch a Break! Scholarship Program must:
Be current high school seniors or graduates, ages 21 and under
Be United States citizens and residents of Minnesota
Be accepted for enrollment for the first time in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited public four-year college or university in Minnesota for the entire 2020-2021 academic year
Live on campus for the first year of undergraduate studies
Have a minimum composite ACT score of 24 or higher
Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
Recipients of the scholarship are not permitted to work during their freshman year of college.
