Tech Workshop: Game Design with Kodu for 5th-8th grade girls!
February 22 @ 10:30 am – 2:00 pm
Event run by the Society for Scientists of Color at the University of Chicago
Would you like to create your own immersive video game to share with a global community?
Using Kodu, a free software from Microsoft, students can step into the world of video game design. Students will be introduced to Kodu, a game creation environment that uses a visual programming language. They will explore basic navigation, customize a landscape, and create a simple program.
Street parking is available and the building is not far from the 55 bus which comes from the red line or green line. There will be signs to guide registrants to the workshop room. Devices/materials and snacks will be provided.
Please send an email to Ateh Fonteh if you have any questions. Thanks!
