New blended learning nursing degree offers students real flexibility.
The University of Huddersfield has been selected by Health Education England to play a vital role in solving the country’s nurse shortage by pioneering a new course based on digital technology. Purposefully designed to create a significantly different offer, our innovative, accessible nursing degree programmes will start from January 2021.
As it is set out in the NHS Long Term Plan to help grow the nursing workforce, this innovative approach to learning will provide a fully interactive programme using a digital strategy. We aim to open up the profession to a much wider group of people who have the skills and aptitude to be a nurse, but whose current situation doesn’t allow them to study traditionally. This may be due to caring commitments, physical access or other barriers to learn that a blended approach will support.
This event will provide the opportunity for you to find out more about the programmes and meet Barry Tolchard, Head of the Department for Nursing and Midwifery, as well as other members of the nursing team.
This event will take place via Zoom.
A zoom link will be sent to you via email prior to the event. If you do not receive this reminder, please contact us at hhsmarketing@hud.ac.uk
We look forward to meeting you online!
