Are you a student at the University of Central Florida? Are you in a major that falls under the wide umbrella of public service, or are you looking for career opportunities in that realm? Lambda Alpha Epsilon invites you to join us for our Fourth Annual Criminal Justice and Public Service Conference at UCF. Every Spring, we invite countless agencies from the local, state, and federal government, public and private sectors, and other areas within Criminal Justice and the Public Service arenas. Criminal Justice students, and any other student within the realm of public service or an interest in working in the diverse field, are invited to come out and gather information from these agencies, create professional connections, and determine interest in available internships and possible career opportunities.
This is a free event for both UCF students, and the agencies that are invited. Due to the professional nature of this event, we ask that students dress appropriately (business casual to business professional, please refrain from blue jeans, shorts, or revealing clothing). We also strongly encourage students to bring resumes to the event as there will be ample opportunity for internships and employment alike.
In the past, LAE has had police departments, juvenile justice, corrections, capitol police, US Postal Service, private security contractors, Alliance, the IRS, HIDTA, emergency management, medical examiners, crime scene investigators, military, and countless others in attendance.
