Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, actor, and filmmaker. With a career spanning five decades, Prince was known for his electric work and flamboyant stage appearances. He was also a multi-instrumentalist and regarded as a guitar virtuoso.Prince was also known for his very wide and extensive vocal range, in particular his far reaching falsetto and high pitched screams. His innovative music integrated a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, and pop.
We are debuting our ONE NIGHT TRIBUTE featuring local artists! All portraits and paintings will be PRINCE themed.
The first 1000 tickets will be FREE. Tickets will be donation based afterwards. Donations will benefit the future opening of The Black Bird Community Center, a space for black and brown youth to learn and explore multi-disciplinary arts.
